Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Audax Media ("Audax", "we", "us") provides paid advertising management and AI-powered lead-response services to home-service businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal information. For any question about it, contact info@audaxmedia.tech.

2. Scope & our role

This policy covers two different situations, and our legal role is different in each:

3. Information we collect

From website visitors: the name, email address, phone number, business type, and any details you enter into our contact form. If you book a call, we receive the information you submit to our scheduling provider.

Automatically: basic technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring source. This may be collected through analytics and advertising tools where enabled.

From callers to a client's business line: your phone number, the audio of the call, a written transcript, and the details you provide during the conversation (for example the service you need, your address, and your availability).

4. AI call answering, recording & transcription

This is the part most people want to understand clearly, so we state it plainly.

When you call a business that uses our AI Receptionist, or when our system returns your call after you submit a form, the conversation is handled by an automated AI voice agent, not a human. Those calls are recorded and transcribed so the business can review what was discussed and so the appointment can be booked correctly.

The recording and transcript are processed by automated speech and language systems in order to understand the request, qualify it, and schedule an appointment. Call audio and transcripts are made available to the business you called.

Consent and notice. Some US states, including California, require that all parties consent before a call is recorded. Where that applies, notice is given at the start of the call. If you do not want to be recorded, you may say so and end the call, or contact the business directly by another method. Calls are not used to train third-party AI models.

5. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

6. Legal bases (for visitors in the UK & EEA)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on: consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing messages), performance of a contract (to deliver services you or your business requested), legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve our services), and legal obligation where the law requires it.

7. Service providers

We rely on a small number of vendors to run the service. They may process personal data strictly on our instructions and are bound by contract to protect it. By function, these are:

A current list of named sub-processors is available on request at info@audaxmedia.tech.

8. How long we keep it

Enquiries from this website are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Call recordings and transcripts are retained for as long as the business we act for instructs us to keep them, and are deleted when that client relationship ends or on their instruction. We keep records longer only where the law requires it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.

If you are a California resident, you also have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these, email info@audaxmedia.tech. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If your request concerns a call you made to a business that uses our systems, we will pass it to that business, since they control that data.

10. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to work, and — where enabled — analytics and advertising cookies that help us measure performance. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site functions.

11. International transfers

We operate from Argentina and serve clients in the United States and Canada, so your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and vetted vendors to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.

15. Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints: info@audaxmedia.tech. If you are in the UK or EEA and are unhappy with our response, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
